Duplicate Entry missing from Address Book

Duplicate Entry missing from Address Book

When I compose an email and using the drop down address button, there are two different email entries for a person. One of them is incorrect and I wish to delete it.

 

I went into the address book to delete it and there is only one entry and it is the correct one.

 

How can I fix this?

If you are still using the old email format you can't.  The auto-fill has it's own memory, and there is no way for you to access it or alter it.  Eventually the incorrect one should drop off.  It could take some time though.  The new format does have that ability, and at some point everyone will be migrated to the new one.
