What you are asking is the function of your browser. It will have a setting in it that lets you control the auto-fill function in your search engine. But the one for the Comcast home page is a different situation. It is part of the Comcast web site, and as such I don't think you can adjust it. You might try adjusting it in your Google account, (if you have one) since it's "enhanced by Google", but I don't know if that will work.
Would rather not have- tried a few things but the drop down always appears. Tried the Google way but no luck.
Now just trying to move to a different page to open up my search. The drop down on the left side of the Xfinity homepage - more- gets me to a search page without suggestions.
Extra step but will do for now.
Thanks again for your input-
I just use my default search in my browser. You don't have to use the one on the Comcast homepage if you don't want to.
Thanks. Understood Latoque.
It's my homepage when I sign in.
If auto suggest turn off is not available then I'll just work around.
Thanks for the suggestion and time.
if you are useing explorer, use the explorer options to choose a search engine and make it defalt,,,,,,, this will not change the search on comcast's page,,,,,, but if you search via your adress bar it will use the engine of your choice and bypass comcast's auto settings
Thank you shay. That would work for me. I guess my question was for Comcast's homepage search. Just thought there would be a setting for that specific search.
Thank you for your suggestion.
