Delivery Subsystem Messages

My email account is receiving hundreds of emails from Delivery Subsystem saying that messages that I never sent are having delivery problems.  Anyone know how I can stop it?

Re: Delivery Subsystem Messages

First, check your Sent folder to see if there are any messages in there you know you didn't send.  If there are then the account has been compromised or you got some malware in your machine.  Change your password to something stronger than what it is right now.  Then run a complete scan of your machine with your A/V software.  If the account has been hacked, call Comcast security----------

If the Sent folder looks OK, then most likely your email address is being "spoofed".  It is very easy for spammers to make it look like email is coming from you when it's not.  If that is the case, there is nothing you can do but wait it out.  Usually a spammer will use an email address for a couple of weeks or so and then move on to bother someone else.
