Connect printer to wireless network via modem/router

I have a printer, that is not wireless and only connects via USB, that i want to add for sharing on my home network. I can't figure out how to have it "show up" on the network to add.

Any suggestions?

You need a 3rd party print server.  It might be cheaper to buy a wi-fi printer instead.

An example of some are here at Tiger Direct.

You can share a USB connected printer in Windows or OSX to share with other pc's on the network.  The computer would need to stay on.
