Comcast webmail 'Edit as New' function loses formatting when viewed in Firefox

Messages created using 'edit as new' in other browers opened in Firefox lose all formatting and appear as one long paragraph.  Messages created using this Comcast webmail function in Firefox performs in the same incorrect way.

Problem was escalated to customer VP of customer support. Answer, Comcast only supports how their webmail works in Internet Explorer...end of help.  I was told to contact Mazilla.  The problem should be addressed by Comcast.  Very disappointed.

Re: Comcast webmail 'Edit as New' function loses formatting when viewed in Firefox

OK I cannot duplicate this in Firefox myself.  Try clearing out FF's cache/browsing history. When you have done that, close it out  and re-start it in a fresh session.  If that doesn't do it, then try using a different browser and see if you can duplicate the problem that way.

And whoever you talked to at Comcast was wrong-------the webmail functions  in all of the popular browsers.

Assuming you are still on the old email format, when in the compose page, click on "Options" in the toolbar;  do you have it set to format as plain text, or as HTML?

Re: Comcast webmail 'Edit as New' function loses formatting when viewed in Firefox

I appreciate you (Latoque) taking the time to offer your advice.  The message I was repeatedly 'editing as new' apparently was corrupted.  After reading that you were unable to duplicate the problem, I attempted to replicate the problem with another email and found 'edit as new' worked fine for that message in Firefox.  So, I created a new message with the content of the original message and I am back in business.  Thanks.
