Comcast email problems on new HP laptop

I was trying to set up Outlook on my new laptop and I have all the correct settings--ports, etc.-- and I know the drill as I had to do it on my new desktop recently and that works fine now, but they don't work on this computer. Also while I can pull up my emails on Comcast email on the new computer and am receiving them, I cannot send out any emails from the Comcast email. They show that they're sent, but they aren't received. I spent over an hour with Comcast on the phone tonight to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Please post all the settings you have set up on the laptop ( humor me please)

Which browser/ version are you using?  Did you clear your browser cache?

Have you tried a different browser, just to test?

Do any of the emails not bring received contain a URL link, phone number,etc?


Need Email Help? Please post the following information in your post.
Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.

Thanks very much, Carol. But a Microsoft service tech was able to solve the problem for me.
