My filters do not work properly. None of my emails come to my inbox. All of my emails, including spam, are sent to another box called "Ads". I cannot delete the filters using Preferences, then email, then filters. When trying to delete the filters, I get a "Trouble with saving" window.
I have been promiced a call back twice regarding this problem. No one has called.
Please help me correct this filter problem.
I'm going to escalate this to the forum administraor level to see if you can get something moving with this.
Hi bobtague -- I'm contacting the person who is working your ticket to get an update on it.
The person assigned to this ticket is working with another team to get a resolution on this.
According to your ticket history, there was an attempt to contact you yesterday to go over this. A voicemail was left with contact information.
I submitted a similar post. As of right now I can't get any email filter to do anything. I tried making it trash any email from my work address (the From header) and then sent an email from my work email. It just put it in my inbox totally ignoring the filter.
Emails filter = not useful = broke
skibum -- I've opened a support ticket for you as well.
Okay I tried this again and it worked. ?? I think (just guessing at this point) that if I delete the filter and re-enter it, it works. Before I was editing a previous filter and that's when it didn't work.
I'll try to confirm this, but I think the bug might be if you edit/change a filter, it doesn't work, but if you create it from scratch, it does.
Were you able to get in touch with that agent? Your ticket is showing as Resolved now.
Has it continued to work?
Basic filtering seems to work But, I have one obnoxious spammer that uses a random email address. Things like firstname.lastname@example.org then email@example.com, etc, etc.
I can not get any wildcards to work no matter how I try. I would like to have all email from cammonline.org be deleted or go to the spam folder.
By the way, cammonline.org looks like it may be a real religious web site but these guys are probably spoofing the address.
If you open up the full header, can you see any domain other than cammonline.org?
