Cannot open or download email attachments

Cannot open or download email attachments

Whenever I try to open or download an email attachment in Xfinity Connect, I get the following error:

"HTTP ERROR 404  Problem accessing /service/home/~/. Reason:  Must authenticate"

I'm using IE 11 and WIndows 7.

I've cleared the IE cache and have enabled Compatibility Mode for comcast.net

Any suggestions?

As a test, try using Chrome or Firefox to see if you can duplicate the problem that way.  But if something is wrong with the url that you are trying to open it won't matter.  What kind of file is it that you are trying to open?
