Can't receive attachments

Can't receive attachments

I'm having trouble receiving attachments.  I know the limit is 25MB.  Someone is trying to send me a 19MB file and the Comcast server is rejecting/returning their email.

What is going on?

Are they getting an error message?  If so what does it say?

The error message says, "#550 5.3.4 ROUTING.SizeLimit; message size exceeds fixed maximum size for route ##."

The sender says the file is about 19MB in size.

I would appreciate your help in this matter.  thanks.....

Ok keep in mind the 25 Mb limit includes the message header and anything in the body of the email itself.  You might want to have the other person send it as a Zip file or something.

That's not what Comcast says when it refuses an email that's too large. Comcast says:

 

552 5.2.3 DATA size exceeds maximum permitted

 

It looks like it's the *sender's* email server that's refusing the email, not Comcast's.
