Can't access my emails

Can't access my emails

I can't get my email, I can click on "view entire box", or an individual email and it sends me to a page with 7 dots that are supposed to be spinning, but instead just sits there. I have uninstalled and re-installed Adobe Flash Player 11 at least 3 times as Comcast instructed me to do.  I have "released & renewed" my IP config as it states to do. I have been "trying to fix this issue since 9:30pm CST. Some people may enjoy this, but I don't.  This is not the first issue I have had with Comcast. You would think with all of the money they are bilking from each customer, they would have state of the art technology.  I think I will look into satellite. Just tired of dealing with this all the time, and it seems more people are having the same issue

I can't access my comcast email on my laptop; but, I can access my comcast email on my desktop; I get the rotating dots as well???  I don't know how to resolve the issue.

First try clearing your browser's cache---incuding cookies and browsing history.  Then close out the browser and re-start it.  If that doesn't help, try using a different browser.  I presume you are both using the Xfinity Connect webmail portal, and not an email client program like Outlook or Thunderbird?

 

You might also try switching from the full to the Lite version of Xfinity Connect.  Another option, just as a temporary work-around, is to use------ m.comcast.net/m-----  That's the mobile version.  It's very plain but should let you access your mail until you get the problem fixed.

Just so I'm clear------what part of my suggestions worked for you----clearing the cache?

The mobile version web address, since nothing else fixed it, I had to access my email some way. so thanks.

I THINK he is using the m.comcast.net site.  Do read the suggestions made by Latoque in his post further up in the thread.



Need Email Help? Please post the following information in your post.
Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.

If using Firefox just use Torch or another browser. That is what I had to do. I have no idea yet why my Firefox stopped working.

I haven't been able to access my comcast email in over a month.. Comcast sure wants their payments on time but I can't get into my email once I make a payment to check whether I got a confirmation on that payment... I'm sick and tired of Comcast! Satellite is looking better all the time.. I've done all I can do on this end and it's not me... I don't dare call comcast to complain because the one time I was without cable and internet for a week, they kept me on my cell phone for 4 hrs.. first to one extention to another until I was back where I started from and come to find out it was their mistake... how frustrating comcast is...I've been with them 20yrs. and get treated like a third class client!! I'M SICK OF COMCAST!!  I WANT INTO MY MAIL, I'M TIRED OF WATCHING THE DOTS GO AROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please tell us which browser you are using???

Did you clear your cache?

 

IF YOU ARE USING INTERNET EXPLORER VERSION 10 OR VERSION 11:

 

Enable Compatibility View:

To do:

Click on TOOLS on the browser toolbar, then click on Compatibility View from the drop down menu.

Close and re-open your browser

Go back to XfinityConnect and try again.

 

IF you are NOT using XfinityConnect, we need to know which email program you are using.. As well as which version.

when I try to get comcast home page it is covered by pop up adds so I can't even see it. when I try to get my email can't read it or send  or reply  this is because of Google Chrome or some recent changes to my computer through them and xfinity. if it is not resolved I will have to make other arrangements. Google Chrome will not let me uninstall  need HELP

As a test, try using Firefox or Internet Explorer if you're on a Windows machine, and see if that changes anything.  You could also try re-setting Chrome to it's defaults.

When I try to get my emails a page comes up that says I need to subscribe to xfinity high speed internet. I am already a subscriber and I don't know why all of the sudden this pops up. I am able to acess from my iPhone but no longer from my iPad.

That error message indicates that there is a coding problem in your account.  You have to call Comcast directly to get it resolved.  There is nothing you can do to fix it yourself.  Call the number on your bill.

I cannot download my email on Comcast for the past 4 days..It is getting a little much.

For a Company the size of Comcast, i"m unable to get help and shouldn't have

to deal with this problem after using Xfinity Online for years.  I NEED TO GET

ON LINE AND RESPOND TO MY EMAILS...PLEASE HELP.  THANKS SO MUCH.

Please let me warn you.  I cancelled comcast and got Verizon FIOS.  My husband and I HATED IT.

We were miserable for about four months with it.  I finally got my comcast back and we are so happy.

OMG verizon was horrible. 

Just a warning to let you know.
