CREATE GROUPS

HOW DO I SELECT NAMES AND CREATE A GROUP. WHEN I SELECT THE NAMES AND THEN CREATE A GROUP, THE NAMES ARE NOT ADDED TO THAT GROUP.

Email Expert

Re: CREATE GROUPS

You have to create the group first, and then add the individual contacts.  Is that what you are doing?

Re: CREATE GROUPS

HOW DO YOU ADD CONTACTS TO A GROUP ONCE THE GROUP IS CREATED?

Email Expert

Re: CREATE GROUPS

After you have created the group, go into the address book and navigate to the contact you want to add.  Then check the little box to the left of the name.  When you have selected the contact like that, the toolbar at the top of the contacts list  will become active, and one of the buttons will be "Add to Group".  Click on that and pick the group from the drop-down.

Re: CREATE GROUPS

I'm evidently not in the right place. I'm at my address book. I don't get those options, I get NEW, SEND MAIL, DELETE, EDIT

Re: CREATE GROUPS

OK I can't see what you are looking at.  The image I posted above is the Address Book page, using the Comcast webmail interface on a desktop computer.  Are you using something else?

Re: CREATE GROUPS

I am using the comcast web e-mail on a desktop also. I don't know what version. In fact I don't know if there is more than one version.

Re: CREATE GROUPS

Comcast webmail doesn't have any version numbers I'm aware of.  When you are looking at the Inbox page, does it look like this?--------------------------

Re: CREATE GROUPS

No it doesn't. I evidently have a different program or a different version.
