Blocking spam?

Blocking spam?

I keep getting spam from the SAME spammers in my inbox. Moving the spam to the spam folder doesn't prevent the SAME spam from appearing day after day. It's annoying. How can I permanently block these spammers?

I had already read through these instructions. They were not helpful.

 

What I am asking is if there is a way, when I receive spam in my inbox, to ensure that I will not receive the same spam again -- some way to "mark as spam" and automatically delete email from that spammer in the future?

 

Or, is there a way to ONLY let emails from my address book get to my inbox (without having to individually type in all the email addresses in my entire address book as "safe".)?

Comcast's spam filters don't work that way.

I haven't tried it, but this filter should move any mail that is not from an address in your contacts from the Inbox to the Spam folder:
