Blacklisted IP Address

Blacklisted IP Address

After spending quite a bit of time with Earthlink to figure out why just about every email message sent to my email account is bouncing back to the senders of those messages, Earthlink has informed me this is because my Comcast assigned IP address is on a blacklist.

 

Earthlink told me I needed to contact Comcast to be removed from the blacklist. I have tried filling out the blocklist removal form on Comcast's site, but received the following message:

Blocklist Removal Response: After investigating the issue, we have found that the IP you provided for removal is currently not on our blocklist.

 

I rely on my Earthlink account for the day-to-day operation of my business, and I am concerned that I am losing business because of this issue.

 

I would post the IP address here, but I do not know if that is appropriate.

 

Please help!

You need to call Comcast security and ask them to look at your account.  They are the ones who can tell you if there is a blocking issue with your IP address----------------

 

Comcast Customer Security Assurance-------------------

Normal business hours (6:00 am to 2:00 am EST, 7 days a week)
