Adding other email servers

At some point I arranged to have my gmail account show up with my Comcast email account. I would like to separate them. Can you tell me how to do that?

Re: Adding other email servers

You need to be more specific;  what do you mean by "show up with"?  Do you mean the "Add mail account" feature in the folders pane?  Or do you mean you set up the Gmail account to auto-forward to the Comcast account or what?

Re: Adding other email servers

I don't remember how I did it, but I arranged to have  my gmail mail appear in my Comcast mailbox. Can you tell me how to separate them again so the gmail mail does not appear in Comcast?

Re: Adding other email servers

OK based on your description, it sounds like you have your Gmail set to auto-forward to your Comcast email account.  Do the Gmail messages appear in your Comcast Inbox?  If so, then you need to go into the settings for the Gmail account and disable the auto-forwarding.  Sign into your Gmail account, then on the Inbox page click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page,  then on Settings.  On the next page click on "Forwarding and POP/IMAP".  Under Forwarding, you should be able to disable it.
