Accidentally changed my husband's work email because I tried to update/change his Username for security reasons...:(

Accidentally changed my husband's work email because I tried to update/change his Username for security reasons...:(

My husband was getting weird mailer-daemon failure emails so I read that he might have been hacked so I changed his username and password.

I didn't know that changing the userID would also change his email.

So I tried to recover it by changing it back, but it said the userID was already in use.

 

I called customer support and the person I spoke to couldn't help me so he said that he escalated my issue to a higher up rep but I would not hear back for 1-3 business days.

 

The problem is this is my husband's primary work email address and this is a HUGE deal for him and his business.

This email is associated with his website and all of his clients...

 

I read that a couple of people may have had help with this issue in a short period of time due to some helpful people on this site - if there is anyone that could help me I would be sooo appreciative... Smiley Sad!!
