A Problem Using "Lost Password" Option at a Specific Site.

A Problem Using "Lost Password" Option at a Specific Site.

I've been trying to use the "Lost Your Password" option at ethnicelebs.com for months, as I'm never sent a confirmation email when I've tried to make an account, there.  I've tried contacting them for months, but have never gotten a response, which has me thinking something is wrong on my end of things.

Anyway, when I put in the email address for any of the accounts I've created I get this message:

The email could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function.

Is this something wrong on Comcast's end of things?  I've never been able to set up an account because I'd never been sent a confirmation email.

I can't get it to work either.  Try calling Comcast security and see if there is a blocking issue with that domain----------------

Thanks for testing that for me!  The site seems none the wiser, because they have regular commenters.

Out of curiosity, is there a way to contact Comcast online?  I wouldn't even know where to start on the phone.

All you need to do is tell them exactly what you told us.

Have you tried contacting them using another email address besides your @comcast.net address?  Of course, you could always set up an account there using a different email address such as one from Gmail.

Re: A Problem Using "Lost Password" Option at a Specific Site.

I have a lot of social anxiety, and I've heard that they often don't answer their phones, anyway.  If someone else is interested in following through on this, that would be great.  If not, I guess this is the end of the line.

BTW, I tried multiple different email addresses.  Didn't get a confirmation email for any of them, and got the same error when I tried to request a password rest.

Then I doubt Comcast is the problem.  My only suggestion at this point is to contact their Admin staff.  I found this on their homepage----------------

I did, numerous times.
