2 e-mail folders containing important information are suddenly empty.

Both folders contained several e-mails.  I went to access them the other day and both folders were empty.  Help!

Re: 2 e-mail folders containing important information are suddenly empty.

Were they subfolders under one of the default  folders?  If so, they are subject to the deletion schedule you have set up for the parent folder.  For example, if you had made them as subfolders under Trash, they would delete the messages after 30 days at most.  Or if under the Inbox, then whatever time span you have set there.  If this is the case, check your schedules.  On the Inbox page go to Preferences>>>>>Email>>>>>>>>Email Deletion Schedules.
