email error delivery status notification

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.     

Delivery to the following recipients was aborted after 2 second(

 

No explanation as to why it was aborted - as far as I know it was going to a valid address at nifty.com.

 

What does it mean?

Nevermind - apparently it's no longer a valid address - thanks for help and sorry for not digging deep enough to begin with!

My initial thoughts is that it is a bad address.  Would you be able to provide the full email address, so I can send a test and try to re-produce?

Tango- To send a private message to Michael with the e-mail address, click on his Username here, which shows in red with the Comcast logo- Box will open... click on send a private message to send him a PM.

 

PS  I also think it is a bad address.

Need Email Help? Please post the following information in your post.
Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.

There are attachments inside that bounce that have more info. You want to "view source" or "show raw message" or something like that, and then look for a section that has stuff like:

 

"Reporting-MTA: dns; QMTA03.emeryville.ca.mail.comcast.net [76.96.30.32]
Received-From-MTA: dns; OMTA14.emeryville.ca.mail.comcast.net [76.96.30.60]
Arrival-Date: Wed, 10 Jun 2009 20:14:53 +0000


Final-recipient: rfc822; **
Action: failed
Status: 5.1.1
Diagnostic-Code: smtp;  550 MAILBOX NOT FOUND"

 

What do you see? Post that section, munging the username part of any emal addresses.
