Mine are stuck, too.

 

Here's the error message I keep getting when I try to send.

 


Task 'mail.comcast.net - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC7D) : 'Your outgoing (SMTP) server does not support SSL-secured connections. If SSL-secured connections have worked in the past, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'

 

Any suggestions?

Are you using Outlook Express or XfinityConnect, or something else please? 

If Outlook Express your Port seettings need to be as follows:

 

POP (Incoming) port 995

SMTP (outgoing) Port 465

SSL should be ON for both ports

This server requires Authentication should be checked

SPA *secure password authentication should NOT be checked.



Need Email Help? Please post the following information in your post.
Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?
Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)
Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?
Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X
Details of the problem you are having.

The sending/SMTP server should be "smtp.comcast.net".

The receiving/POP server should be "mail.comcast.net".
