Message Status

I am using Comcast smartzone email and was wondering what the envelope with the 2 bars running through it in the message status means. Normally I get a plain envelope that is open or unopen but sometimes there are blue bars running through an unopen envelope even after I read the message

Re: Message Status

SmartZone is powered by the Zimbra web mail client. I have checked their documentation, but so far cannot find mention of any status icons other than the Unread (Closed envelope) or Read (Open envelope).

Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing please?

Re: Message Status

I am wondering the same thing.   I recently saw the same icon w/blue lines through it - maybe it's a warning?

It’s a real email that was sent by the true owner of the brand
The sender chose to take the extra step of getting certified by Goodmail so you could trust email you receive from them.
You have an existing relationship with the sender

Re: Message Status

It is the part of the icon for Goodmail-  Please look at THIS link:  LINK

The link above explains in detail, what Goodmail is, and why you may see this symbol on messages you receive from various companies, etc.

Comcast Adam, A Comcast Moderator also posted here about it > LINK

Hello all,

If anyone notices any unusual mail from a GoodMail source, we are working with the vendor, and are addressing it.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Thanks,

Adam
