IMAP EAS

WIndows 8 mail only supports IMAP or EAS... From what I understand Comcast doesnt offer these.  Comcast needs to get with the program.  There will be alot of unhappy customers if they cant even use the email service built into Windows 8.  They should have been prepard for this, Comcast needs to adjust to the stream, the stream doesnt adjust to them.

Re: IMAP EAS

Agreed.  Comcast uses Zimbra, which certainly has this functionality.  Time to play catch up!

We're now making IMAP available via our Xfinity Connect Beta program. The URL for the registration site is https://xcbetasignup.comcast.net/ Once registered your account will be moved to our Beta platform and will be accessible via IMAP within 72 hours.
