Forwarding email

I would like to forward email coming to my comcast.net account to my gmail.com account.  Can anyone tell me what to do?

Re: Forwarding email

Go to:

https://customer.comcast.com/Secure/Users.aspx

After you login in, the page will show most of your email settings, one of which is to change your email forwarding setting.  Click on the Edit button to the right of that and provide the request information and press the Save button.

Have you checked your forwarding setup using the account link above?

Re: Forwarding email

The setting for changing Auto Forward, etc. can be found in XfinityConnect under the Preferences tab under Email on the left side.

When you click on email this window below shows.

Email Preferences managed under Email in Preferences.JPG

Then when you click on Auto Forward you will be directed to this window below:  (NOTE:  I removed the very top of this window because it shows my Username)

You get this if the account you are logged into does not have authority to change the setting.  Use your Primary ID to make the change directly, or change the secondary ID type to UNRESTRICTED so it can change its own settings.

Re: Forwarding email

Question:  Is there a way to forward any incoming comcast emails to TWO email addresses?  My roommate and I use this as a joint account, so it would be better if we BOTH got notices for comcast bills etc.  We do not use the comcast email, nor do we plan on using for anything but managing online payments etc.

You would have to set up an e-mail filter in Xfinity Connect to do so.

What is it you don't see?    If you possibly mean where to set up email filters go here OR reply with more details of what you need help with.:

Open XfinityConnect

Click on Preferences

A window opens... On the left side, click on Email Filters

Re: Forwarding email

What do you see when you click on Preferences, the click on the Mail icon? You should see a list, click on the one titled Email Filters. Do you get a page of Icons when you click on Preferences in XC? CC
