My computer at work automatically remembers my password. I am going to be gone for 4-6 weeks so I want to disable this feature. I don't really want to change my password but I will if I have to. When I go on the sign in, the box that says "remember me on this computer" is NOT checked...but the ******** appear where my password was first entered and it allows access to anyone who would sign in.
Are you using Comcast webmail or an e-mail client such as Outlook Express?
Need Email Help? Please post the following information in your post. Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version? Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.) Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache? Which operating system? XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X Details of the problem you are having.
I am using the Web. Not Outlook. Not linked to any other program.I cleared my computer - disk clean up. The remember me **bleep** on is not checked but when I sign out and cleaned up cookies - still the preset ****** are there with my password saved. It is being saved somewhere on my windows XP directory but not sure where. I
