For ~3weeks I've been getting a battery low message for my "Takeover Bridge Device". It'll come up, beep annoyingly for a while, then randomly fix itself. This happens anywhere from 1-3x a day. Xfinity help doesn't know what it is, called 3 times with 3 different answers. First tech just replaced the battery on the touchscreen, said I should be good to go, I wasn't. Second tech arrives this week, any thoughts on what this might be? Possibly a firmware issue or something in the hardware?
There's a backup battery in the main control panel/junction box (ours is in a closet where the cell antenna is), that guy needed to be replaced. Took multiple calls to Comcast and 2 different techs to figure this out. If this happens to you, have a tech come out and check/replace that battery for you.
