Does anyone know how to pair the new style Keypad? I know you hold down 2 and 8 with the old keypad but does anyone know about the new style???

Did you try going to settings, entering your password, then looking for the device?

I also need help pairing the new keypad. I am at the last step where you must trip the keypad but do not know how to complete the pair. Any help would be appreciated.

With new keypads you just need to pull the battary tab to put it in pairing mode. To trip the sensor you have to remove the wall mount on the back of the keypad.

I have the Technicolor iControl TCA203COM Home Automation Touchscreen unit (the one with four buttons, a RED one on the far right).

I guess that's the current hardware in use.

Is Xfinity swapping out old hardware for current versions or do you have to report something broke in order to get something new?

I just got one of the new keypads.  It was used.  How do I put it into pairing mode?  Pulling the plastic battery tab isn't an option....

Solution
On the back of the keypad is a tab, called the "tamper switch" that is pushed when fully seated on the wall cradle. To pair, follow easy steps:
1. Remove BOTH batteries
2. Depress tamper switch (hold down)
3. Install ONE battery (doesn't matter what slot)
4. Watch the front of keypad, lights will come on, and in about 2 seconds release the tamper switch (MUST BE RELEASED BEFORE THE GREEN LIGHT GOES OFF)
If done correctly, the wifi symbol on bottom left will begin to flash, you are now in pairing mode (aka defaulted)
Once the touch screen sees the new keypad, it wants you to "trigger" the device. Just depress and release the tamper switch (about one second)
And if all goes well, your done! Name it and put the other battery in.
This took me awhile to figure out, seems the internet has been scrubbed of helpful info!
BTW, this must be done in "installer" mode, at least it did for me.
