Okay I recently purchased an TCA200COM Touchscreen, 2 cameras, and 3 window sensors and 1 motion sensor from Ebay for $200. They all were used for and Xfinity Home control alarm system. Oh yes I also have the WNR1000 Net Gear modem that comes with it! Just wanted to know was there a way to factory reset the touchscreen so that I could use this system independently of it being monitored just for in house use? Thanks in advance for your help.
Well was giving the installer's code to get into the touchscreen and before doing this everything worked without a problem when connected just no alerts were sent to my phone nor email address. I could also view the cameras without any problems and arm and disarm the system. But I wanted to start over and add what I wanted to use only but the system now is asking for an premise passphrase to factory reset the touchscreen......any one knows an default for this? Thanks again for the help.
In answer to your question Yes! The only way you can is with the technician code which you said you had. However since it seems you may have forgotten it or lost I'll give it to you again. You ready it's a hard one 4 3 2 1 lol. Once you hit settings and enter that code then hit 1 your in. Good luck.
A true factory reset cannot be done on a XFINITY Home touch screen. If the option were allowed it would cause the touchscreen to be removed from the account on the backend, and a technician would need to be sent out to re pair all other security equipment to the touchscreen.
