Enable bridge mode after security camera installation

Enable bridge mode after security camera installation

I just recently got comcast to install security for my house including cameras.

The technician that was setting it up reset my comcast modem because I had previously put it into bridge mode. He said that the cameras have to be directly connected to the comcast modem and not my own Asus router.

I was wondering if maybe anyone knew on here if it was possible to keep bridge mode on while connecting the cameras to my own router as well.

Any help is appreciated,

Thank you in advance.

Re: Enable bridge mode after security camera installation

Nope, you would need a separate netgear security router installed by a tech.
