frequent phone calls to my cell promoting comcast service

frequent phone calls to my cell promoting comcast service

Repeated over the last 3 weeks, I have received calls from 877-257-9467. It never leaves a message. When I call back, I got a pre-recorded message stating the call was about a comcast service promotion. How can I remove my cell phone number from these telemarketing calls? I couldn't stay on the phone over 10 minutes waiting on hold to get through to comcast customer service rep.

Have you tried blocking the call number and see if that works.

not sure if my cellphone career would be able to do it.

 

A google search turn up this web link to add yourself to the Comcast's do not call/ do not mail list. Gonna give this a try:

The next time they call, tell them to put you on their Do Not Call list. Also call Comcast and ask them to put you on their internal Do Not Call list. If you continue to get calls, drop a note to Comcast corporate customer service (we_can_help@cable.comcast.com). 1-800-COMCAST (1-800-266-2278) or 1-800-XFINITY (1-800-934-6489)
