Low Hanging Cable Lines in Back Yard

New Poster

Low Hanging Cable Lines in Back Yard

We have some communication lines in our back yard that are hanging very low. One line crosses our yard, then is draped over a tree in the neighbor's yard and looks as if it touches the ground on the other side of the tree (hard to tell as it's covered in bushes).

What can be done about this? Is there any way to have someone come out and lift these wires? They might even be old phone land lines, but I'm not sure how to tell.

Thanks!

Re: Low Hanging Cable Lines in Back Yard

Hi ajorgensen -- Thank you for bringing this low hanging cable to our attention. I have alerted Tech Ops about this cable. They will work to get the proper tech team dispatched to come raise this cable properly.

Following up on this. A job was completed yesterday to raise this cable. Can you confirm this was done please?

Hi Pjsimss88,

Sorry for the late response. Have you been able to speak with anyone regarding the cables that are down in your backyard? If not, I can help by reaching out to your local tech ops team to come out and get this taken care of.

Re: Low Hanging Cable Lines in Back Yard

Hi,

I am having this issue too! Well the house next door is getting a new addition so the spot where their old cable and mine were located are now in my backyard and hanging on my first floor roof. Seriously upset about it and would like it removed.

Thanks!

LW
