Lied to my costumer service representaive

I called two weeks before my contract was up to see what new plan I could get.  I was told that because I transferd service to a new address that my contract was extented anoter two years and that i could not get into a new promotion.  Come to find out this was all was a lie so that the person could just get me into the same deal but at more cost.  It is very infurating that sales reps lie in order to get an extra sale.  Unfortunately Comcast is the only provider that can provide the internet speeds that I require.
