I have to say that I have SUPER bad experience dealing with Comcast when it comes to cancel services too. The automated system just hanged up on me, or it will just insist that I call back during regular business hours. Come on, can I just cancel my service with the "text chat" or a email please? What do you have to make canceling service SO HARD??? If you do a google search you will find lots of people complaining about this. Can Comcast try to do better about this please?? Thanks!
Try this. Walk ALL comcast equipment through your local comcast office front door. Get a receipt from comcast with name and serial # for each item. Keep the receipt in a safe place for the next 120 years. Comcast inventory system needs a lot of work. Comcast may bill you for the returned equipment, and turn you over to collection. This could cause 2 dings to your credit.
