Comcast hit a Nicor line and much damage was done.  Both Nicor and Comcast had to come out and dig up and repair lines along a whole city block.  They both did extensive damage to our yard, destroying much landscaping, plants, bushes, flowers etc. without any regard at all.  Not once did either company come to tell the residents they would be digging in the yards, at least giving us the opportunity to move our landscaping.  We came home to see equipment in our yard, a muddy 3 foot hole with 10 feet surrounding it, destroyed.  When the claims depart. was contacted, both Nicor and Comcast blamed the other.  Neither company would take responsibility  for the damage and heartache they have caused us.  So, where do we go from here to get this resolved?

I've asked that our Regional office look into this and get back to you.

Comcast contractors just left the house after digging and laying some cable across three homes. The dug out a bed and junipter, and left another spot dug up and did not finish/grade an area in which they work in. Should I wait for them to come and fix it or call Comcast to voice our concerns>
