Chat feature

I tried starting a chat but it kept telling me the phone number is not valid, there is no place to input phone number. Tried switching out my last name, email and all other fields with my number but no go. I also tried private messaging an agent and it would not let me. I have tried from my phone, iPad and computer. I was able to chat with someone using xfinity mobile but as I needed help with cable she could only give me the customer service number.Anyone else found a way?
