Unreturned equipment charge

Unreturned equipment charge

Back in July, Comcast sent me a new modem. I was asked to return the old modem using the pre-printed UPS shipping label, which I did. Now, on my last bill, I got an additional $10 charge for unreturned equipment. I called Comcast, and they said that they'll investigate and get back to me (but I don't have much faith in that). I asked them to give me the UPS tracking number (since Comcast generated the shipping label, and I dropped the modem off at an unmanned UPS drop-off point), but they said they don't have it. Anything else I can do? I don't want to pay extra $10 every month for the equipment I don't have.
