I just got off the phone with retention and am leaving Comcast after 16 years for Fios.

 

Total with fees for Comcast (X1) for me was $245. They offered to save me $15 a month.

 

Total with fees for Fios Extreme HD will be $173 for 24 months, $188 for year 3.

 

Unlike years past, it looks like every company is heavily vested in generating new accounts and less concerned with building long term relationships.
