Promo went away - how to qualify for another

My November internet bill was $20 higher because a promo went away.  I called Comcast and asked what I could do to qualify for another and she said I didn't qualify right now - but in 30-60 days maybe I would???  Don't understand why Comcst does not want to retain long time customers.  We have been with them since 2009 here in FL and were with them in IL as well.  I also asked if the could then increase my speed for the new price and she said she couldn't do that either - will be looking around for another Internet provider -
