I've spoken to Xfinity over the phone and via chat several times about this issue and my old account is still showing up under my current user name. It looks like emailing through the forums is the only way to actually get someone at Xfinity to fix it? I can't use any Xfinity apps until its resolved so i'm hoping for a quick turnaround. Thanks!
