Please help lowering my bill

Long time Comcast customer. My bill has risen steadily to the point where it is very difficult. We have the HD Premier Sports bundle @ $216.49 month. The bundle and internet speed are fine but I need to find a way to lower my cost. I can switch to Fios inthis area but as long time Comcast customer I prefer to keep this. Any helpful offers appreciated

To make a long story really, really short...

To lower your cost it's going to work out a lot like lowering your electric or water bill.

 

You can also switch service providers every year or two (careful not to trip the early termination fine) and take advantage of the 'new / returning' customer discount.

So play the game and use less, those are the only options I have found that truly work out to paying less.

 

I wouldn't expect much help from customer service...

On the other hand I don't feel any guilt for being disloyal, nor do I hang on to a service out of sheer loyalty since it has been made pretty clear to me that neither side really cares.

 

The part that stuns me, is why they even bother to advertise...

That stinks, to have to pay for their advertising department's costs when we don't have a choice anyhow.
