Need help lowering bill!!

Hi there - I am a longtime customer of Comcast / Xfinity and continually have to monitor my bill rates as they periodically increase. 


Today I received the notification for my latest bill and it jumped $40 per month compared to the rate I was paying. 


I need help understanding my options to lowering this because it is well over my monthly budget for cable / internet. I feel like now might be the time to cut the cable cord once and for all because I am sick of having the conversation! The high cost can almost no longer be justified.


Are there any current promos that can be applied for existing customers to alleviate this????
