My bill jumped when the promotion ended.

Hi, my promotion ended and rates skyrocketed. I called Customer Service and they lowered them from the higher numbers, but my bill would still be higher than my current bill...and a lot higher than Verizon. I told the Customer Care person to sign me up to at least get this reduction, but my wife said to look at Verizon.  Can Comcast help me stay as a very long term subscriber stay with Comcast with a competitive rate?
