Merging Two Accounts - Help Needed

Can I get some help merging two accounts? I have two houses, service at both... I really shouldn't have to log in with two different IDs.

 

Plus the BIG issue is that I cannot use my cell number and email as security backups for both accounts.

Hi Phuzakie, unfortunately we do not have the ability to link your accounts anymore. What you can do is use the same password for each account and create a similar username so that each profile is easy to log into, I know this isn't the same as linking the accounts but it is our only work around at this time.

I just set up another account-I see that you no longer have the ability to merge accounts to manage them both. My problem that is when I enter a mobile phone number in my new account, Xfinity doesn't permit it because that number is already associated with another account. Yeah, my first one. It's the only mobile number I have. Now what?

Absolutely unacceptable. This is a feature you have had. This isn't 1995 on the internet...

 

My gas company can do it.

 

My electric company can do it.

 

Your workaround is about as lame as Web 1.0

 

Get it fixed.

And also Amir, the other commentor is right, I cannot re-use my phone number and email for security because they are used.

 

Guess what?! They are the same for both houses because I am the same person! Fix it!
