Lower monthly bill

I am looking to look at my options for lowering my monthly bill without canceling the service and going elsewhere. We prefer to stay with Comcast but not at our current rates.

Funny thing is this seems to be their price discrimination method of choice -- if you care enough about getting a low price, you'll switch providers every two years, and suffer the inconvenience necessary to game the system. Otherwise you are clearly willing to accept the higher prices.  It's good economics for them (but terrible for their customers) -- keep the customers who aren't price-sensitive and "share" the customers who don't appreciate the price hikes with their competitors.

 

The paradox here is that they not only don't *reward* loyalty, they exploit it.
