Installation fee

I used the chat system to set up my xfinity account and chose a package that had a free professoinal installation fee promotion at the time. My bill came and the $60 installation fee was on there. The person that set up my account guaranteed me that this charge would not show up at that it was a free service included with my package. I have talked to multiple employees that continue to tell me there is nothing they can do for me which is completely ridiculous as one of their employees lied to me and told me it was free. I finally talked to someone on the phone who sounded like they would be able to get this charge removed and she said I would get a call back within 72 hours. Do you think I got that call? Nope. I am furious that they think they can charge me for something that they falsely advertised to me. My next step is to cancel services all together with xfinity so that I dont have to worry about being scammed.

Hey elaine12345! This isn't the experience we want for our customers. I'd like to help review your account and the original offer you were promised.
