Help with downgrading?

Hi,

 

I'm looking to downgrade my current services and was wondering if I could get some assistance?  I would like to discontinue my cable service and then downgrade my internet.  I'm not sure what the level is directly below the Blast Pro, which I currently have, but if I think that is the direction I'd like to go.  Would someone know what that level of service is referred to as and what the particulars for that service would be:  price, mbps, and is a contract needed?  I would prefer to continue service with Xfinity without being in a 1 or 2 year contract, but I'll be open to the possibility and would be willing to give it consideration.

 

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you Loren, and no problem, I still have this under me. I can get you into the internet only for $49.99 per month for 12 months. Please see below break down and let me know what you think. 

 

  • Performance Pro internet only for $49.99 per month for 12 months. 
  • Modem rental $10.00 per month. 

Total would be $59.99 per month for 12 months. This would be the next step down from what you have for internet, please note I do have cheaper rates. I can break them down for you as well.

Hi Shane,

 

That sounds like a really good deal and I really appreciate you taking the time to find that for me.  Is it attached to a contract?  If I decided to upgrade back up to Blast Pro at a later date, would there be any penalties for doing so before the 12 months were up?

 

Also, I will need to turn in my cable box and remote before they come off my bill, correct?

Absolutely Loren, and thank you. This would be under a 12 month term, however, you can downgrade or upgrade anytime while under the contract. The only time you would get charged for the ETF is if you disconnect completely. As for you equipment, when I key this in you would have 72 hours to return it. You can either return it to your local service center or UPS store as we have an agreement with them for returns. If you would like me to key this in now I can, I will need to receive your approval for this package change via text or email. We will have a 30-minute window to complete the process once we begin. What text or e-mail would you prefer to use for delivery?
