Existing customer vs new customer

Why as an existing customer, the only way that I can get a deal (I'm not going to bundle), is to cancel my service, wait a few months, & then become a new subscriber again? I enjoy my Comcast cable service, but it seems ridiculous that Comcast prefers new customers rather than loyal, existing ones.

Greetings @happygoat1414. We certainly value all our customers, existing and new. We offer new customers an introductory rate for the first 6 months, 1 year, or 2 years depending upon the offer. After the introductory period offer expires, the price does go to what we call Everyday Price or regular rate. This is our business model. We have many satisfied customers paying the Everyday Price for our products and services.
