Early Term Fees Tacked on When it wass confirmed three times there would be none

I need some help from Comcast on my closed account.  I called to cancel and was assured that I was fine and out of contract.  I called again the morning I was going to take the equipment in, again told no contract, good to go.  I took the equipment back to the Exton, PA store and again asked and the gentlemen said I was "good to go" no contract. 

 

I received a bill for $246 for early term and filed a case over the phone.  No response.  I filed a second case, no response.  I called today and escalated and was told that they saw the notes, the Agent will be repremenaded but I stillowe the monies - 

 

Xfinity - please let me know how to resolve - I would have kept the service had I been under contract.
