ETF while moving to non-serviceable location

ETF while moving to non-serviceable location

I was moving to a new house and contacted comcast to move my services to the new location. Comcast representative said the location is non-serviceable at that time.  I had no other choice but to cancel my service and the representative said that there would be no ETF. I received a bill for the amount of $160 after a few weeks. I called the customer service and was told the case would be escalated to waive the fee. The fee has not been waived until now and when I ask the customer service representatives they say it cannot be waived. This is unethical and not the right way to treat a loyal customer.

I sent feedback to VP of customer service and also posted an FCC complaint regarding this issue. Hope comcast resolves this issue.

Re: ETF while moving to non-serviceable location

Since you have contacted the FCC there is nothing we can do for you here; you will have to wait until an agent gets in touch with you.

Good luck.
