Double Billing on Credit Card

Double Billing on Credit Card

Yesterday I did an online chat session with a customer rep due to discrepancies I found on my online account, after my auto pay bill did not appear on my credit card. I can provide the case ID in a private message. The chat service person said I would have to pay my November 1, 2017 bill manually since the auto pay was not initiated by Comcast, as it has been for quite some time with no problems, so I set up a one time pay on the website. She also stated a late charge would be waived, and that internal support had been contacted. The billing system conversion that was to begin October 30, 2017 did some strange things to my account.

As of early today there are now two charges on my credit card, but on my online Comcast account only one payment appears and one pending payment. Comcast should send a notification to the credit card provider to remove the duplicate charge.

Please advise.
