Dishonest Comcast reps

My bill was getting ridiculously high, so I called in to see if I could change to a more affordable package, and after over an hour of discussing my options and checking and double checking my new monthly total, i agreed to switch my package. My first bill was exactly what she told me it would be, but the next one was $50 higher. The rep I spoke to when I called in was very condescending, and the message I basically got from him was that I agreed to pay that price when I confirmed via text message. I confirmed the price that the rep gave me!

    I suppose it's my own fault for assuming she was being honest with me. Not only are their business practices dishonest, this is outright fraud! The worst part is that the rep I spoke to afterwards saw no problem at all with the fact that this lady lied to me about what I was agreeing to in order to get me to switch plans. Lesson learned; in the future I'll just assume that everything a comcast employee tells me is a lie until I see it in writing.
