Contract confusion (ETF?)

Contract confusion (ETF?)

I signed up for xfinity service when i moved to this location in Feb of this year. I would never knowingly sign up for a commited term contract with Xfinity due to the issues i have had in the past. I noticed my bill said my contract was for 3 years? I went online to the area that was recommended by the sticky "Early Termination Fees ETF" and only see one item under contract information. It only shows an "account terms of service" and nothing else. I will be moving to ATT high speed fiber soon. Is my contract responsbile for an ETF?

Re: Contract confusion (ETF?)

Hi jrm523,

If you are in a valid contract, (more details can be viewed by clicking "View a list of all terms and conditions" in the top right corner)

and decided to cancel all of your services at once, then yes, the Early Termination Fees would apply to you. If you would like me to pull up and verify your contract I can do so, just send me a private message verifying the first and last name of the account holder, and the street address or full account number associated with your services. To send a private message click on my name "ComcastChe", then click private message me.
